Over the past five years, more than 500 people have attended the Hub Conference to explore routes into Independent church ministry.
It takes place each January and is organised by the Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches. It is an opportunity for those training for ministry or exploring the call to come together for a weekend of teaching and seminars. It also gives the opportunity for those in training to learn from experienced gospel workers. Representatives from major theological training colleges also attend, which gives people the opportunity to explore options open to them.
This year’s conference was attended by more than 120 delegates, led by a team of 35 experienced gospel workers. The main teaching ministry, from Isaiah, came from Bill James, pastor of Emmanuel Church, Leamington Spa. The FIEC’s next training director Adrian Reynolds will speak at the Hub Conference 2018.
