New church – London FCC

January 2016

The Free Church of Scotland (Continuing) has begun holding services every Lord’s Day in London. Its first meeting was on 25 October, when Rev. Maurice J. Roberts preached. Requests had been coming to the FCC, for some time, to start services in the capital.

While there are many churches in London, we believe there is a need for the distinctive emphasis of the Free Church (Continuing): evangelistic, experimental, expository, applicatory, reformed, Protestant, Presbyterian and psalm-singing.

We are totally committed to the inspiration and authority of the Scriptures, to holiness of life, church discipline and purity of worship.

Services for the time being are held in Putney Evangelical Church, Sefton Street, Putney, SW15 1NA (kindly granted), at 3.00pm and 6.00pm, with refreshments and fellowship in between.
