A new faith school has been set up in Birmingham with a Christian ethos. According to Michelle Newman, principal of the King Solomon International Business School, the foundation is one of the Woodard family of free schools, one of which has recently received an ‘outstanding’ from Ofsted.
The school, which caters for 4-year-olds right through to and including sixth form, offers the International Baccalaureate programme and specialism in business studies.
Ms Newman said, ‘Our commitment is that King Solomon International Business School will work tirelessly in partnership with parents, carers and students in order to achieve our ambitious outcomes for all our learners. Our all-through school provision underpinned by a strong Christian ethos adds to our uniqueness’.
She called the school, with its global focus, ‘forward thinking and diverse’, and expressed the aim of the staff, which is to ‘ensure that our students become high achievers, knowledgeable and well-rounded, internationally minded individuals’.
St Peter’s Collegiate School, an Ofsted rated ‘outstanding’ school also affiliated to the Woodard family of schools, works closely with King Solomon International Business School.
