Lewis Christian Conference

June 2013

The Lewis Christian Conference will hold two conferences in 2013. The first takes place from 5-8 July, when the speaker is Dr William Goligher, senior minister of Tenth Presbyterian Church, Philadelphia, since May 2011. The second is from 8-11 November, when the speaker is Dr Dale Ralph Davis, from Mississippi.

Mr Goligher previously pastored churches in Ireland, Canada, England and his native Scotland. Born and raised in a Christian family in Glasgow, he felt called to a preaching ministry at the age of 11, after attending one of Billy Graham’s crusades.

After college in Glasgow, he graduated in theology at the Irish Baptist Theological College in 1973, and in 2004 earned his Doctor of Ministry degree from the Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, Mississippi.

Mr Goligher married Christine Nora Hughes in 1972. They have five adult children and five grandchildren.

Before coming to Tenth, Mr Goligher served as senior minister at Duke Street Church (2000–2011), a Reformed evangelical church in West London. He has spoken at conventions throughout the world and preached regularly at conferences and churches in the USA.
