Week of evangelism
Some 11,000 gospel tracts and service invitations were delivered to houses across Dundee, Perth and Cumnock ahead of a Christmas week of evangelism.
Participants from eight churches were able to deliver the invitations and offer prayers and hospitality. Each church had non-Christian visitors attend their gospel carol services.
Ali McLachlan, general secretary of the newly launched Grace Baptist Partnership Scotland, said many people were invited to attend services or were reached in gospel conversation during the week of evangelism.
These included an elderly lady dying of cancer, a Jewish agnostic, a lesbian atheist, a young mum and mentally ill gentleman. There was also a sari-selling Pakistani lady, many nominal Church of Scotland folk, a backslidden church elder and a disillusioned Polish Catholic.
