Paedo ring busted

Europol has busted what the European police agency believes is the largest ever international online paedophile ring, which had up to 70,000 members.
According to reports from MSNBC, Europol’s Operation Rescue has identified 670 suspects and taken at least 230 abused children in 30 countries into safe custody.
More children are expected to be found, a Europol statement said. So far, more than 180 people have been arrested and investigations in some countries were continuing.
Most of those detained are suspected of direct involvement in sexually abusing children, including teachers, police officers and scout leaders, according to AP.
One Spaniard who worked at summer youth camps is suspected of abusing some 100 children over five years.
Speaking to the AP, Europol director Rob Wainwright said, ‘This ring, which communicates using an internet forum, was probably the largest online paedophile network in the world’.
