People on the move

After 17 years of service with the Highland Theological College, Rev. Alex Murray has retired from the post of chair of the board of governors and trustees. A dinner was held in his honour at the end of June. R. Murray M’Cheyne — named after famous family member of two centuries past Robert Murray M’Cheyne — has been appointed as the new chairman. Mr M’Cheyne, director of Murchison Law in Inverness, has been a board member for three years and was appointed vice-chairman last year. Meanwhile, Rev. Donald MacIver, retired Free Church minister and part-time programme leader for the access course, has taken over as the new vice-chair.
