EP Books (Evangelical Press and Services Limited) has announced Roger Fay as its new chairman and Stephen Bignall as vice-chairman, following Robert Strivens’ retirement after five years as chairman. Mr Strivens will focus on his work as Principal of the London Theological Seminary (LTS).

Mr Fay is pastor of Zion Evangelical Baptist Church, Ripon, and editor and chairman of the Evangelical Times and Evangelical Times International newspapers.

Mr Bignall comes originally from Australia and is pastor of the Campus Church, Welwyn Garden City. He is also a member of the European Missionary Fellowship executive committee.

Principal Strivens said: ‘It has been a great privilege to serve on the board of EP. I am confident that under Roger’s leadership the work will continue, with God’s blessing, to produce and distribute good Christian literature throughout the world’.

Roger Fay paid tribute to Robert Strivens, saying he exercised a ‘wise and gracious leadership of Evangelical Press during an important phase of its developing ministry. We pray that the Lord will bless and use him greatly at LTS, and look forward to close ties with him and the seminary in its important work’.

The EP board is committed to pursuing excellence, characterised by passion for the gospel and fidelity to Scripture, in all its literature.
