On Monday 5 April Dominic Stockford, minister of Christ Church, Teddington, was consecrated as bishop for the Evangelical Connexion of the
Bishop Arthur Bentley Taylor conducted the simple yet dignified service. His brother Rupert Bentley Taylor, President of FIEC, preached the message.
The service was attended by family and friends of Dominic and members of the Connexion. After the evening meal, there was a testimony meeting where Bishop Dominic testified to his leaving the Church of Rome and being truly born again and converted to Christ. No longer did he try to earn his salvation, but acknowledged it is by grace we are saved.
