Gary Brady writes: Building work is due to start on our Chiltern Street premises. This is the final phase of refurbishments begun some years ago. We are now able to introduce a lift system for the building. At the same time we have had to look long and hard at the viability of remaining in our present accommodation.

Although a move from Chiltern Street is not imminent, we have decided we cannot stay there indefinitely and are now actively seeking an alternative venue for the 80,000 books that make up this unique collection.

At first, we were considering the possibility of transferring the books to another evangelical institution, but on reflection we have decided against such a move. Our aim is to find a more economic and suitable site that will keep the library intact and independent, and secure it for use by the evangelical public in the UK.

There is a need for volunteers to work at the library. Let us know if you can help. Do pray for us at this time.
