The fourth International Congress on Preaching (ICOP) will be held from 8-10 August 2017, at St Andrews Street Baptist Church in Cambridge.
The event, which unites pastors and church leaders from the UK, US and many other nations, is jointly sponsored by Preaching magazine, Anderson University, and Spurgeon’s College.
The theme of the congress is ‘Preaching hope in an age of fear’, and the programme will feature several talks relating to that theme, plus a variety of sermons and more than a dozen practical workshops on preaching-related topics.
Speakers will be drawn from outstanding church leaders in the UK, US and Canada, including Dave Stone, senior pastor of Southeast Christian Church in Louisville, Kentucky; and Roger Carswell, a travelling evangelist based in Horsforth, who leads evangelistic church and university missions and is author of eleven books. A full list of speakers is available at the ICOP website (www.icop2017.com).
The first ICOP event was conducted in 1997 at Westminster Chapel in London. Since then, ICOP has been held in Edinburgh in 2002 and in Cambridge in 2007.
