On Saturday, 21st September, Waterford House Evangelical Free Church (near Strood, Kent) held a welcome thanksgiving service for their new pastor, Adrian Tribe and his wife, Andrea.
Formerly from Borough Green Baptist Church, Adrian was called to Waterford House after the former pastor, Norman Hopkins, announced his intended retirement some five years before. Adrian is the fourth pastor in the 52-year history of this church based in the Medway area of North Kent.
The service was well attended, with the last-minute rustling-up of chairs resulting in a full church of roughly 120 people. Presentations and readings from Adrian and the existing elders, as well as a sermon from Geoff Gobbett reflected a shared joy and thankfulness for God’s continued blessing on this congregation in enabling a clear gospel witness to continue in this part of Kent.
