EA report shows church experience during pandemic

January 2021

A survey conducted by the Evangelical Alliance shows nearly nine in ten church leaders say they have reached new people while holding online services.

But the results of the poll also showed that 40 percent of churches were still not meeting together as a church in person every week for primary services.

Nearly half of churches are seeing reduced donations, especially those churches that rely heavily on weekly collections during meetings.

The number of church leaders who described their emotional wellbeing as good or very good had dropped by about 10 percent from the EA survey conducted in May.
