Maurice Roberts was the minister of Ayr Free Church of Scotland from 1974 to 1994, and then of the Greyfriars Congregation, Inverness, since 2000 a congregation of the Free Church of Scotland (Continuing).
He was editor of The Banner of Truth magazine from 1988 to 2003 and is the author of several books
Maurice Roberts was Moderator of his denomination’s General Assembly in 2007. He retired from the pastoral ministry in December 2010. He has been Lecturer in Greek & New Testament at the Free Church Seminary since 2002. He is married to Sandra, and has one daughter and two grandchildren.
