Shaped by Scripture not by culture

In our increasingly post-Christian culture, evangelicals will have to grapple with how we engage with the many social issues that press upon us. There are some who suggest we can come alongside the culture and find areas of mutual agreement. For example, by saying that the concepts of social justice and biblical justice are not so different from each other, and therefore there is an opportunity for us to find common ground with unbelievers. Others, however, say that the idea of social justice is another gospel altogether, and that adopting the language of ‘social justice’ risks taking us down the path of moral and doctrinal compromise.
