Four Christians in Iran who converted from Islam have been arrested by the Iranian intelligence services, according to reports.
One of the men was beaten, and others were physically assaulted while in a detention facility.
The four men – Esmaeil Narimanpour, Mohammad Ali Torabi, Alireza Varak-Shah and Hojat Lotfi-Khalaf – were later released.
Following their release another 10 to 15 Christian converts and house church members were summoned by the Intelligence Office department.
Though they were let go the same day, they were forced to declare that they would not attend any house churches or associate with Christian groups.
