African mission

1910 - 1913

Studd went to Africa with fellow missionary Alfred Buxton in 1910. In 1913, he ventured into the Congo and set up four mission stations. His wife in England, like him, suffered bad health, and he had to return to care for her sometime after his establishment in Congo.
