Leaves school for business


In 1902 at the age of 16, young Arthur finished school and took up business. He lived with his parents, though he rejected their faith. Likely around this time, he fell in with the Theosophical Society and in due course became a practicing medium of high regard among the spiritists, eventually gaining notice by the Society’s founder, Madame Annie Besant.
