Los Angeles Crusade


Though his evangelism had already been gaining momentum, Graham’s breakthrough came in 1948 when his Crusade in Los Angeles drew press attention and had to be extended from three to eight weeks as he preached to over 350,000 people. This began a long relationship with journalism and public broadcasting that boosted his fame and success worldwide and drew in larger and larger audiences to hear the gospel.
