Settles in Stornoway


In 1940, Hove was a target of German air raids, so Arthur and Vera Pink moved one last time. They settled on the Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland. There Pink did not even attend church, leading a reclusive and extremely disciplined life of study and writing until his death twelve years later.
