This book’s primary concern is the thoughtless and even dangerous embrace of Zoom and similar technologies in order to perpetuate some form of worship during the covid lockdowns. Blending the fruits of a creative and artistic background with insights from other disciplines (plenty of Postman and McLuhan, for example), the author contends that we too quickly and too carelessly threw ourselves into this new mode, with unhappy consequences. He marshals his arguments in twelve fairly dense chapters, making a case for the dangers of this new approach.
