Courage: How the Gospel Creates Christian Fortitude

When we find ourselves facing difficult situations, do we show courage or cowardice? Joe Rigney’s contribution to the Growing Gospel Integrity series, created in partnership with the Union School of Theology, seeks to encourage the growth of Christian fortitude. This is a courage which is not self-reliant, but based upon the fact that our biggest fear has been removed. Thanks to Jesus’ completed work on the cross, the believer has no threat of wrath or fear of being cast into hell.
