The Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, has rejected calls to scrap the Church of England’s transgender guidance.

Critics of the guidance say it affirms children as young as five in the ideology of gender confusion, but the Church of England denies this.

In an open letter to the Archbishop, Christian parents Nigel and Sally Rowe had called on the Church of England to urgently scrap its ‘Valuing All God’s Children’ guidance which covers 4,700 CofE primary schools.
