Pakistan

Christian girls in Pakistan have been raped and trapped into becoming Muslims through forced marriage, a report from independent newsletter The News has claimed.
Quoted in the report, one old lady from Essa Nagri said, ‘I saw two of my daughters being raped in front of me’.
She told The News that around midnight men from other areas started gathering in their neighbourhood and caused trouble — a regular occurrence. She said they stormed into her home and raped two of her girls while she was locked in another room. This is the latest in a long line of abductions, feuds and rapes.
Wilson Chowdhry, a former councillor in that area and founder of the British Pakistani Christian Association, said the residents have grown tired of squabbling for space and now offer their prayers in a school right behind the church.
