This book comprises 90 readings based on the themes: Scripture Alone, Christ Alone, Grace Alone, Faith Alone, and Glory to God Alone.

One can see at a glance that this is indeed ‘the heart of the Reformation’. The aim of the book is to encourage readers to look to Christ alone for complete salvation, and not to divide our focus; e.g., not to supplement his finished work with our own works. The preface states that ‘from God’s perspective...to not trust in Him alone was really not to trust in Him at all’.
