Pro-life campaigners have celebrated figures that show more than 32,000 babies have been saved from abortion since the US Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade in June 2022.

According to the #WeCount initiative, a reporting effort that aims to capture the shifts in abortion volume by state each month, an estimated 32,260 fewer abortions took place in the six months following the judgment, which returned abortion law to state legislatures.

An interactive data map is provided by the Society of Family Planning members on its website, and is updated every month.
