John-William Noble is due to speak at an upcoming Christian conference on the rise of Islam in the UK. Here he tells us why he believes it is such a pressing issue.

What is the biblical response of Christians to the rapid change in the cultural demographics of our nation? Do we look at the increasing number of mosques and immigrants as a Gospel opportunity where Christians are called to love those who are in need?

And if the church were to dissect and challenge what is taking place, does this mean we are dividing the lines of Scripture and politics, which many in our government and media have already concluded is the position of the far right?

These are pressing questions that require engagement from the church; and this is for the sake of the Gospel. On Saturday 28 November, I will be joining with the team from Christian Concern for a conference tackling ‘The Rise of Islam in the UK: A Biblical Response’.
