The Association of Confessional Baptist Churches met in May at Trinity Baptist Church, Charlesworth. Representatives attended from all six member churches, with a handful from other churches also present.
The meeting opened with ministry from Richard Lawrence (pastor of Countesthorpe Baptist Church), who preached on Christ the Mediator. He emphasised the doctrine (summarised in the 2nd London Baptist Confession) that Christ is very and eternal God, who took to himself our human nature, yet remaining one person. Reports were shared from each congregation, highlighting encouragements and ongoing needs.
