Chester outreach

Chester City Mission has formed a new outreach venture in a second-hand Christian bookshop.
Its aim is to have mission doors open each day of the week, to allow another point of contact and follow up to street evangelism that we do in the city. We are located in the middle of Chester, behind the market, by the main bus station on Hunter Street.
All the books on sale have been donated. The money from this will go into buying gospels, tracts and other books that we will be giving out free to spread the gospel.
There will be tea and coffee for those who call and stay a while; and various exhibitions. The first one will be on the King James Bible, followed by others on such as C. H. Spurgeon, R. M. McCheyne, John Newton and D. M. Lloyd-Jones.
Initially we will open 10am-2pm, but we hope this to change as more people volunteer to help. Anyone visiting Chester will find a warm welcome and some great Christian books. If anyone wishes to donate books, please contact me (01244 349277).
