A prominent Chinese pastor who was arrested in October 2025 has been released from detention and allowed to leave the country.
Jin Mingri, along with 30 church leaders, was taken by state police and held in detention for eight months in a crackdown by the Chinese government. At least eight other church leaders are still in detention, according to China Aid.
