Christian bookshop faces backlash for asking for LGBT rainbow flag to be moved

A Derbyshire Christian bookshop has been attacked after it quietly asked the council to remove a multi-coloured LGBT flag from above its shop window.

During Pride month, the Matlock Town Council hung the flags around the high street. Cornerstone Bookshop, which started life in the town as a bookstall in 1985, asked the council if it could remove that particular flag.
