Kate Forbes, an evangelical Christian and member of the Free Church of Scotland, has been appointed to the second most powerful position in the Scottish Government.

She has been given the role of Deputy First Minister by the new First Minister and leader of the Scottish National Party (SNP), John Swinney.

But her opponents have strongly attacked her for the socially conservative Christian beliefs that she holds.

Co-leader of the Green Party and gay rights activist, Patrick Harvie, has hit out against Forbes’ beliefs on sexual ethics, gender identity, marriage, and abortion.

Evangelical Christian, Kate Forbes, has been made Deputy First Minister of Scotland. The so-called ‘progressives’ are furious because they hate her moral values, and no doubt they will be looking for any opportunity to take her down.
