Staff at The King’s School in Witney (Oxfordshire) have noticed a growth of interest in Christian spirituality among its 213 pupils.
‘A noticeable spiritual hunger is emerging among pupils,’ commented Olivia Watterson, Head of Admissions and Administration. ‘Increasing numbers of young people actively seek more opportunities for prayer, worship, and deeper engagement with the Bible.’
In a recent pupil feedback initiative called ‘Have Your Say’, over 17% of responses specifically requested more opportunities for prayer and worship.
