William Branham
William Marrion Branham (1909-1965) was born in Kentucky, USA. He felt a calling to become a preacher after a personal healing experience as a youth, and became an independent Baptist pastor.
Some strange claims are made about Branham including regarding him as ‘the twentieth-century prophet’; ‘A man sent from God’; and ‘a prophet to the Gentiles’ whose ministry ‘has been unparalleled since the days of our Lord Jesus Christ’.
Branham’s books and other media are available in many languages and are being circulated throughout the world. His simple messages, and reports of many alleged healings, made him extremely popular worldwide.
The late William Branham's disciples remain active in contacting evangelical pastors and churches. Some pastors and other are confused as to whether or not his teaching is biblical. These articles are intended as a help and guide for pastors and others.
