Last October, the Autumn Lecture hosted by the Christian Heritage Centre in Rowley Regis focused on the Council of Nicaea (AD 325).
Our able guide was Conrad Pomeroy (Dudley). He began with some of the errors prevalent in the third- and fourth-century church, before highlighting the influence of Arius (who taught that Jesus Christ was a created being and hence inferior to God the Father).
