Draft bill is expected to criminalise conversion practices

A draft bill to ban conversion practices was expected to be published in Westminster at the end of May.

The publication of the bill will likely be followed by twelve weeks of pre-legislative scrutiny.

It is expected that a joint committee from the Lords and the Commons will be responsible for that scrutiny, and will issue a call for evidence.
