The first time I knew about Evangelical Times international (ETi) was in 1995 when I was working with COCIN Theological Education By Extension (TEE), COCIN headquarters, Jos, Nigeria. There was a missionary lady named Mrs Maryamu Gula who came to Nigeria to serve with COCIN as a missionary with the Sudan United Mission (SUM) British branch. She used to distribute copies of ETi to pastors in COCIN. The question I had in mind then was how can I get a copy of this paper?

After that time, I did not see the paper again until I moved from COCIN headquarters to work with Africa Christian TextBookS (ACTS) at TCNN Bukuru, Nigeria.

That was when I started seeing the paper again, coming with used books ordered by Revd Dr Sid Garland from Ian Major in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

I contacted Ian Major about the possibilities of getting some secondhand books to help believers, students of theological seminaries, Bible schools, church workers, and pastors. Ian Major started sending the used copies of the paper with used books and Bibles to me.
