A 72-year-old Christian evangelist has been acquitted after being prosecuted for distributing a gospel tract in London’s Soho area.
Richard Johnson was charged under Section 4A of the Public Order Act 1986 after handing out copies of an illustrated tract, ‘Doom Town’, in April 2025.
The tract retells the biblical account of Sodom and Gomorrah and contains teaching about sin, judgment, repentance, and salvation.
