The Faith Mission, a Christian charity founded in 1886, has revealed it is entering discussions with staff about the future of its ten remaining bookshops across Northern Ireland and Scotland.
The charity said the discussions follow 'significant changes in the retail market, including fewer visitors to high streets, higher costs, and the shift to online shopping'.
As well as bookshops, Faith Mission runs evangelism programmes, a Bible College in Edinburgh, and the 'Gospel Truck' (an adapted HGV used as a space for gospel outreach at outdoor events such as the Balmoral Show).
