The European mission of the Free Church of Scotland (Continuing) has been strengthened by the ordination and induction of Revd Fabien Garat as a church planter and evangelist in the French Basque Country. Mr Garat began his work at the end of July.
Preaching from 2 Corinthians 5:20 during the induction, Revd Hugues Pierre reminded him that a minister is an ambassador with a message from God: that sin has estranged humanity from God, but reconciliation is offered through Jesus Christ. On Judgment Day, only those with living faith in Christ will be at peace with God.
