Books explaining the why and how of family worship can be good; this is better.  A busy father can open the book, read the set passage, and ask his family useful questions (two recap, three about the new passage, three more applicatory). He might begin by reading the reflection aloud, then use it increasingly as a source of ideas for his own reflections. By the end of 100 days, he should be confident in a workable pattern to continue on his own.
