The government has issued draft guidance for dealing with transgender issues in schools and still refuses to put an end to gender transitioning.

Despite growing evidence showing the harms on children, the draft guidance stops short of banning the practice.

The former head of Ofsted Baroness Amanda Spielman said the guidance gives 'too much leeway' for schools to allow a child to transition 'while keeping it secret from their parents'.

Head of Education at Christian Concern Steve Beegoo said, 'While the new draft guidance has some major and helpful clarifications, it remains that children as young as four could be socially transitioned to the opposite sex in UK schools, without any clinical advice being required, and on some occasions without parents being notified.
