Populated by 50,000 people and surrounded by settlements which swell that number to some 150,000 souls, the town of Alloa proved an ideal hub for the planting of a church in 2024.
Having contacted a core group of seven believers in the Clackmannanshire county who desired to see a Reformed Baptist Church in that area, we began work back in 2021. We put leaflets through doors, engaged in street evangelism, and met every Sunday for worship at 4 p.m.
In January 2022, Grace Baptist Church Alloa was constituted as a church plant from Grace Baptist Church Edinburgh, appointing Pastor Ali McLachlan as interim pastor.
