Humanists challenge decision to allow church banners in Cardiff

A recent display of church banners, approved by the local council in Cardiff, has drawn criticism from humanist groups.

The banners read, ‘Trust in Jesus, he is alive, come to church,’ and feature the council’s official logo.

Humanists argue that such religious expressions in public spaces compromise the secular nature of government.
