For many years, by God's grace, volunteer members of GOOD NEWS for Everyone! (formerly Gideons) have been attending Fresher Fairs and presenting copies of the New Testament, Psalms, and Proverbs to college and university students throughout the UK as they seek to fulfil the objective of the Association, which is to introduce others to the Lord Jesus Christ.

At some Fresher Fairs, over 5,000 Testaments can be offered and accepted by students over the course of one or two days, each copy with the potential to change many lives for all eternity. As a member shared following distributions at one university last year, 'So many young people took a Bible and were open to reading it. I'm not sure I've seen such openness before.'

The Bible distributions at universities usually take place at Fresher Fairs, where local members will book space to have a table/stand from which they will offer Testaments to students. It is such an encouraging time for members and a real highlight in each year of Bible distribution.
