A Christian man in Malta is celebrating after being acquitted of advertising so-called 'conversion therapy' services, in a ruling which may have wider legal ramifications.
Dr Carys Moseley, public policy researcher for Christian Concern, said the acquittal of Matthew Grech, a former gay man, has 'wide implications'.
Moseley said the case would not only have an effect on the implementation of the Maltese law banning conversion practices, passed in 2016, but could also impact similar laws passed in other countries since then.
