Criccieth Family Church

On Saturday 30 August over 200 gathered in Criccieth for the induction of Ben Thomas as the first full-time pastor/teacher of Criccieth Family Church (CFC). The service was conducted by Selwyn Morgan from Bethel Baptist Church in Barry, a member of the council of reference for CFC.

Others taking part were: Wyn Hughes from Heath Evangelical Church, Cardiff; Andrew Murray from Covent Garden Evangelical Church; Daf Meirion-Jones from All Saints, Preston – also on the council of reference; and Chris Jenkins from Christ Church, Baldock, who preached powerfully from 2 Timothy 4.

CFC was born in May 2000. Three years ago the eldership felt it right to seek a full-time leader. This the Lord has gloriously provided in bringing Ben and Bethan, along with their two daughters Megan and Angharad.

Ben and Bethan are Welsh speakers, which is key to ministry in this part of Wales. The appointment has been made possible through the generous support of many friends, churches and trusts with a vision for gospel work in this part of the UK.
