Ring of terror

A ring of paedophiles and sexual predators operating in the north of England has been busted after a lengthy police investigation.

Two of the Asian men involved in the ring, which subjected a series of vulnerable girls to rapes and sexual assaults, were convicted in Nottingham Crown Court in January and given indefinite prison sentences.

Speaking to theDaily Mail, Chief Inspector Alan Edwards of West Mercia Police said that hundreds of young white girls had been ‘passed around and used as meat’.

CCTV footage had shown the two convicted men cruising the streets of Derby in a BMW to meet girls. The men were the prime movers in a group of men who befriended girls aged from 12 to 18 in the Derby area and groomed them for sex. The two, both married with children, were said to be the leaders of the Derby gang.
