W. J. Grier memorial lecture

The W. J. Grier memorial lecture was held on Thursday 30 October in Stranmillis Evangelical Presbyterian Church, Belfast, when the Rev. Iain H. Murray gave an address on ‘John MacArthur – contemporary evangelical leader’. Ernest Brown, church historian, gave a brief biographical sketch of Mr Grier’s life.

Our picture shows Mr Murray with Rev. Gareth Burke, minister of Stranmillis, together with Mr Grier’s sons, James and John. (His other son Hunter was unable to be present, as he was recovering from surgery).
