Andrew Anderson, former president of the FIEC, was called home on 1 November 2025. Born in 1935 in Mill Hill, London, Andrew was converted at an early age. He trained at London Bible College before pastoring a church in Kent for eight years.
He then moved to the pastorate at Philip Street Baptist Church in Bristol in 1970 where he remained for eighteen years.
Philip Street was located in an area of Bristol diminished by bombing during World War II. Under Andrew's ministry it experienced considerable growth.
